SAVE THE DATE! The third annual Naked Heart LGBTQ Festival of Words will take place in Toronto from November 10 to 12, 2017. Authors and writers: The 2017 Naked Heart festival application will be available online in late June.
Launched in 2015, Naked Heart is the largest LGBTQ literary festival in the world and the most racially diverse literary festival in Ontario. This festival in the Church and Wellesley neighbourhood of Toronto includes workshops, panels, performances and discussions for writers and lovers of words. In 2016, we presented over 90 writers at 38 events. The festival hub is at Glad Day Bookshop (499 Church Street), the world’s longest-running LGBTQ bookstore. Naked Heart strives to be as accessible as possible with wheelchair accessible venues and ASL interpretation provided at readings, workshops and panel discussions.
